CSC invites nonprofit organizations with annual budgets of under one million dollars to apply for the Infrastructure Building Capacity Grant. This funding will support projects that focus on but are not limited to strategic planning, board development, leadership development, target marketing, outreach strategies, human resources best practices, improving organizational structure, and developing sustainability plans.
To qualify for funding, applicants will meet the following requirements:
- Serve children and families in Broward County.
- Be a registered 501©3 nonprofit organization with continuous operations since January 1, 2020, and be qualified to conduct business in the state of Florida.
- Be able to provide the organization’s filed 2021 IRS Form 990 reflecting annual revenues up to $1,000,000. Annual revenue totals will be verified, and amounts above the stated criteria will be deemed ineligible.
- Reflect in-kind donations on your IRS Form 990 and include this amount in your total annual budget.
This grant cycle will run from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023.
A virtual Pre-Bid Conference will be held on July 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. This will be the only opportunity to receive verbal instructions regarding the RFA. To register for the conference, please use the following link:

Completed applications must be submitted through CAPS by 12:00 p.m. Noon on August 1, 2022. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
The procurement is available through CSC’s web-based Contract Administration and Procurement System (CAPS), and responses to this procurement must be submitted through CAPS. Training on the use of CAPS will take place during the Pre-Bid Conference.
